The magic of today’s Flight Simulation
AS some of you know one of my hobbies is MS Flight Simulator, especially in multiuser over the net, with VoIP communications in real time.
As good as FSX is out of the box, it is nothing compared with what you can get in the after market. Some good freeware packages exist but the best scenery and aircraft add-ons are commercial.
Here’s a new video by my friend Patrick in Germany,flying the DodoSim Bell 206 Jet Ranger, in the town of Concrete, Washington (scenery by ORBx’s FTX-Pacific Northwest and Concrete Municipal Airport-3W5, skies by REX2).
What a joy is to fly as realistically as it gets (well, OK, Patrick takes some liberties as some of his excellent but daring flying would get him in hot water in real life).
