Amazon Revealed Exactly What's At Stake In Its Battle With Hachette

In its post, Amazon makes a mathematical plea for why most e-books should be priced at $9.99, instead of $14.99 or $19.99, given that they don't require printing, storage, or transportation.

It makes sense to me. I read 3-5 books a month. Most of them on Kindle. I do not buy overpriced books when I have a choice at under $9.99 and many at <$3.99

I agree that the author/publisher makes in volume what they lose in price per book.

"A Universe From Nothing" - Lawrence Krauss

This is a conference from 2011. It is one of the best explanations I have ever heard of where the universe comes from and more.

Long but worth watching!
