Goodwood (EGHR) is located in Chichester, West Sussex, England. The airfield was built during the Second World War by the Royal Air Force as a relief landing ground for nearby RAF Tangmere. The site was the former Westhampnett Farm and part of the Goodwood Estate. It was known as RAF Westhampnett. (info fro Wikipedia)
It has grass runways and is surrounded by a functioning racetrack.

Siletz Bay (S45) scenery by Bill Womack and ORBx, very realistically depicts a coastal airfield in Central Oregon. The aircraft and boats used are also non-default, but commercial products by different manufacturers.
I do have this scenery myself and couple of the aircraft he uses. What you see in this video is what I see when I fly. Awesome, isn’t it?

Mario Romeo has posted a while ago another beautiful video showcasing Orbx’s Fall City (Washington) scenery for Flight Simulator (FSX).
Even though Microsoft discontinued FSX a while ago, third party companies like Orbx (among others) continue to push the envelope.
I have plenty of wonderful sceneries and aircraft to keep me busy in FSX for years to come!

ORBx has released Stewart Aerodrome (CZST) in British Columbia, Canada, with an insane 2cm per pixel ground resolution! Amazing quality and very little performance penalty. I installed it this week and it was all the pre-release screenshots promised. Wow!
It is a beautiful area in the border between Alascka and British Columbia. Flying from there to Ketchikan (also specially treated by ORBx), makes the sim flights a joy.
I am ready to get Stewart BC (CZST), about to come out from Orbx, my favorite software development company. What these guys do for FSX is outstanding. They have now added a pre-release teaser for Stewart Airport from Orbx for Flight simulator X and P3D (coming out this month). Details at 2cm per pixel. Unheard of in the serious flight simulator world.
Am I getting it? You bet!

Another FSX enthusiast, Misha from Sydney has posted a nice video showcasing ORBX’s S43-Harvey scenery (FSX – MS Flight Simulator).
This is a local general aviation airfield in Washington State, NE of Seattle.
I have almost all of ORBx’s sceneries and they are works of art as you can see in this video. Check out the moving people, branches and leaves rustle in the wind, and there’s a moving hot air balloon too.

As some of you know I am an MS-Flight Simulator enthusiast (FSX). I use ORBx sceneries whenever possible and can’t give enough praise to their quality and their service and staff.
A sim colleague, Narajan has recently put out a video showcasing some of the latest ORBx sceneries. I recommend you watch in 1080p HD and see the quality of Flight Simulation today.
Jeroen Doorman, one of the most talented FSX video makers I know has come up with a new one yesterday.
This one showcases ORBX’s Aeropelican (YPEC), a beautiful area on the East coast of Australia, and a place I like to fly around often in Flight Simulator FSX.
Well done Jeroen! And kudos to ORBx for producing such a great scenery.
