GoDaddy, after an internal investigation said that it was an internal issue, not an outside hack or DDOS. The claim by a Twitter account that Anonymous was responsible was bogus, somebody falsely claiming it was responsible.
The problem "was due to a series of internal network events that corrupted router data tables” and it lasted from 1pm to 7pm, EDT
