They are extremely fast and they fly erratically all over the place. It's almost impossible to catch them, so I basically had to zoom back to a wider angle, set a high shutter speed to freeze movement and shoot many in sequence when I saw them coming, hoping to catch at least one. In almost 50 shots of them I got two decent photos (one of which you see here).
Another obvious comment, and question (I'm surprised nobody yet asked about this swallow is if it is African or European? Laden or Unladen? and what is its velocity) {bg}
