The Bahamas has been thoroughly wrecked by Hurricane Dorian. We are lucky here in South Florida that it turned and bypassed us.
The Bahamas is one of the few islands in the Caribbean without mountains. The strong storm lingered for two days and just now is starting to move out. Can you imagine having a hurricane on your head for two full days non-stop?
A series of places have been opened to accept donations of goods and money.
