A visit to a DC7

I had the honor to be invited to have a good look inside and out of the only passenger flying DC-7B in existence, at Opa-Locka airport (Miami).

N836D is a former Eastern Air Lines restored DC-7B, now in flying condition and based at Opa-Locka. The whole story can be read at the article I wrote for Wikipedia.

or by doing a Google search to see their site and news about her restoration to flying status.

More shots in my gallery.
