10-foot-tall bronze statue of Julia Tuttle, unveiled last month at the southern end of Bayfront Park, on the 114th birthday of the city of Miami that she helped create. It took long enough and "it was about time that we had a statute to Julia Tuttle, being that people have talked about doing it since the time of her death in 1898" said Arva Parks, Miami Historian.
