Of Muppets and Me: Behind the scene on the Muppets
This is the find of a lifetime. I am so happy showing you this. I laughed so hard. A set of videos (YouTube) showing the men and women behind the Muppets. Jim Henson, Frank Oz and crew show you how it was done. A must see!

Carl Sagan's Cosmos - Tesseract
Possibly the best explanation I saw of a 4th-dimensional object is this old clip of Carl Sagan about a Tesseract. Enjoy!

New Roy Zimmerman!
I have posted Roy's gems before (here and here). This one is new. I found it courtesy of PZ Myers and as he put it: it is not funny Roy but cynical Roy, but then these are cynical times.

A chance to win 30 million dollars
Want to win 30 million dollars? Google is willing to pay.
"Google is offering a $30m prize pot to private firms that land a robot rover on the Moon.Instead of planning a dream to go to Mars, why don't we go back to the moon? It's much closer, it's rich in minerals and can pay for itself with science and mining in a few years. Glad somebody is doing something about it. It's a start.
The competition to send a robot craft to the Moon is being run with the X-Prize Foundation."

Wikipedia in English has reached 2,000,000 articles!
I am proud to say I have contributed a few new articles and thousands of edits to help make it what it is, an open encyclopedia, and in a way the fulfillment of Isaac Asimov's dream of his Encyclopedia Galactica from his Foundation Series novels, that opened the minds of countless youths when published so many years ago (yours truly included).
Congratulations to all the editors that made this possible!
