It was 20 years ago today
Hurricane Andrew hit Miami. I remember it like it was yesterday. We were ok and my house was left intact. Only lost one tree that provided some shade. Many people I know were not so lucky.

Ryan's REAL Medicare Disaster for Future Seniors
Ok. So the plan is to get a voucher from the government in stead of Medicare. Then use this voucher (all $6,000 of it, whohoo!) to shop for insurance in the open market. How well would it work for older people?

Photo of the Day
Westland Lysander at Lakeland, Fla.
One of the nice and interesting planes I like to fly in Flight Simulator (FSX) is the Lysander by FSAddon.
The Lysander (Wikipedia link) had a marvelous career, mainly landing in short fields at night in occupied France during the war.

FSX: Orbx Pacific Northwest scenery very well presented by Misha.
This is why I love the third party market, even years after Microsoft disbanded the Aces Team, development continues and the action still goes on!
