As part of India & Pakistan's Golden Jubilee celebrations, Ravi Shankar, accompanied by his daughter Anoushka Shankar, performed live for the BBC at The Symphony Hall, Birmingham.
Ravi Shankar passed away yesterday at the age of 92. I had the fortune of seeing him live twice. One in the late 1970s in Buenos Aires, the other one a few years ago when he visited Miami with his daughter.
